With the stumps pulled we still have a lot to do to get the vineyard ready for planting. This photo shows a tractor pulling a disc to break the clumps into a smooth – ready to plant – field. There are still a large number of limbs and roots in the dirt that will have to be removed.
We are planning on aligning our vines with the other vineyard. And due to the slope of the vineyard we will need to terrace the slope in alignment with those other rows. That will be the task for when we return to the USA in June, we are out of the country for a month or so.
